Santos was the first Persian that Justin owned and showed.  After having dinner with mutual friends one night, he asked Paolo Carnevaletti (Kuorii cattery) of Italy for a Persian kitten to show...never expecting what would happen.  Santos is who he sent.  After breeding and showing Maine Coon Cats, all that hair was a lot to get used to, but it was love at first sight!  Showing Santos as a kitten was a blast, but just the beginning of things to come!

     Santos had an amazing show career.  He was a Regional Winner as a kitten before returning to Italy for a short time.  He was highest scoring cat in show as an Open, and again as a Champion while in Europe.  Once he became a Grand Champion, his debut show in the United States was the 2008 CFA International Cat Show in Atlanta, GA, where Santos was named Best In Show...a dream come true for Paolo and beyond Justin's wildest dreams!

    The interviews and articles that followed were quite overwhelming!  Santos was shown in 5 European countries and all over the United States.  We saw so much and made many new friends along the way.  It was on one of our trips to CA for a show that Justin and Eric met.  In 6 short months, Santos became CFA's Best Cat in Championship for the 2008-2009 show season.  He now resides back in Italy and enjoys producing beautiful babies!
